Get a taste of life on campus through a compact programme of bite-sized experiences from teaching in English, to sports and creative activities.
Everything takes place in English during the camp.
Prospective students join from all around the world to experience 'efterskole life' and a preview of our academic programme.
The camp duration is either 2 nights / 3 days or 3 nights / 2 days.
In 2025, it will take place during the week commencing Sunday 12th October.

PRACTICAL Information
WHO IS THE INTERNATIONAL CAMP FOR:
The International Camp is for both Danish and international young people who are curious about the boarding school experience. Since the camp is conducted in English, it is an advantage if participants can speak and understand English at a reasonable level. The camp leaders speak both Danish and English. The typical participant is between 14-16 years old.
WHEN DOES IT START:
The camp takes place in the Autumn holidays / Week 42 and begins on Sunday at 14.00hrs (CET) for Check-in. The Camp duration is either 2 nights / 3 days or 3 nights /4 days and the 2025 camp dates will be confirmed soon. On the departure day, parents will be greeted with coffee and refreshments, a presentation of the highlights from camp and then to conclude, time for farewells.
WHERE IS IT:
The camp takes place at The International - Academy and Boarding School of Denmark, Vesterhavsvej 43, 6990 Ulfborg in Mid-Jutland, Denmark. We look forward to welcoming you at the door.
PRICE:
The price is 800 DKK and includes accommodation, the full programme of activities, all meals and a souvenir International Camp T-shirt.

- 13:00 - 14:15: Classroom session - Creativity and Storytelling
- 14:45 - 16:00: Activity Zone: Cooking or E-sports
- 16:30 - 17:30: Creativity and Storytelling
- 18:00 - 19:00: Dinner and Free Time
- 19:00 - 20:30: Smuggler Race (outdoor activity)
- 21:00: Refreshments and Contact group meeting
- 22:00: In Rooms
- 22:45: Lights Out
TUESDAY
- 08:00 - 09:00: Breakfast and Packing
- 09:15 - 10:15: Creativity and Storytelling - Completion of Project
- 10:30 - 11:15: Cleaning and tidying up - Rooms and common areas
- 11:30 - 12:00: Contact group meeting - Preparation of presentations and writing on T-shirts
- 12:00 - 13:00: Lunch and Break
- 13:00 - 14:15: Battle Royale in the Cultural Center - and Clean-up
- 14:30 - 15:00: Parents are invited to arrive from 14:30, see the exhibition, enjoy coffee and then we say our farewells together at 15:00

EXPERIENCE CREATIVE TEACHING IN ENGLISH AND DANISH EFTERSKOLE TRADITIONS
PACKING LIST:
- Health insurance card + passport
- Clothes for both activities and everyday wear
- REMEMBER rain gear and extra shoes. The Smuggler Race is outdoors, and you might get wet and dirty.
- Sleeping bag, sheet, and pillow
- Pencil case
- Toiletries and any personal medication
- Chargers for all the devices you can’t live without
- Optional: slippers or flip-flops as indoor shoes
