We travel because…
Intro
The Introtrip takes place in August! We team-build, get to know each other. We find a campsite somewhere in local area, and spend a few days doing a lot of things like archery, quizzes, bonfires, swimming, reflection time, boardgames etc.
Europe
World trips
Where would you go?
If you could chose between Hawaii, Sydney, Guadeloupe, Austria or Spain - Where would you go? Our students are actually offered that choice!
In February we travel for a maximum of two weeks to our destinations in five groups. We spend some quality time together as a group learning about new cultures, sightseeing, and what food to absolutely not miss out on.
Leaving T.I. at the end of February and returning in March is the most perfect time to travel! We say goodbye to the winter - and return to the early spring with lots of great adventures in our memories!
The Itinerary for the world trips are very different - but some headlines from some of the Trips are:
Hawaii
Surfing, Pearl Harbour, hiking, Waikiki beach, shopping, school visits, snorkeling, hiking to a waterfall etc.
Guadeloupe
Creole cooking, snorkeling, "beach-nic", visiting a sugar plantation, island hopping, making ice coffees for Paul(!), chill time and shopping.
Australia
Exchange program with PLC in Sydney.
The Opera house, Blue Mountains, Bondi Beach, classes, homestays.
SINGAPORE/MALAYSIA:
Nature, big cities, culture, homestays, Sights and sounds of both Singapore and the UNESCO heritage city of Melaka, adventures and memories to cherish.
EUROPE:
City life, museums, culture and delicious food. Welcoming spring under southern skies with minimal jet lag and short travel time. The European trip is the only world trip that is included in the school fees. However, students must bring their own pocket money for the trip.
In 2024/25, the trip went to France and Italy.
*Please note: We occationally change the destinations for the worldtrips. We will update the webpage as soon as new trips are confirmed.
Extra fees for the worldtrips
Hawaii, Guadeloupe, Sydney and Singapore/Malaysia have an extra payment of 18.000 dkr.
The students and parents are informed about the extra cost before they choose their destination. The Europe tour is included in the school fee.
Outro
Somewhere in Jylland.
After 10 months together we finish the school year going to a campsite. We spend the last days writing in our blue books, socializing, quizzing and chilling. The first priority on that trip is to slow down the pace and just enjoy each others company.
